Science Technician - Chemistry

Overview

Corfe Hills School is looking for a Science Technician who is a chemistry specialist to join the existing technicians in the Science Faculty. In this role you will provide technical and administrative support to teaching staff in the Science department, covering all subjects and specialising in Chemistry.  Part of this role will be to support the teaching staff to ensure the safe and proper use and maintenance of resources, equipment and chemicals.  You will also assist the designated class teacher or subject lead to plan and deliver schemes of work.

Salary & Benefits

Required to start September 2024 (earlier start date possible)

Permanent

Grade D, point 5 – 6

24 hours per week, term time only
Working pattern to be discussed at interview, hours to be worked over 4/5 days per week

£13,052 actual salary per annum (£23,500 FTE) to £13,271 (£23,893 FTE)
